Born and raised in Trenton, New Jersey. He answered the call to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ on September 10, 2000 at Calvary Missionary Baptist Church and was ordained as Elder in January 2003 Calvary Christian Fellowship Ministries. His ministry began to expand beyond the church. God gave him a vision to reach out to other young minister's for the purpose of uniting and declaring the Word of God; to fulfill the Great Commission and to advance the Kingdom of God. Hence Young Minister's for Christ was then realized and he serves as the ministry's chairman.
Prior to being called to the Pastorate, he served faithfully and tirelessly at Calvary Christian Fellowship Ministries, Ewing, New Jersey under the leadership of Bishop Johnnie Vaughan, Jr. He served as Assistant Pastor, Youth Pastor, and Administrator of the annual CCFM "BREAKOUT" Youth Conference. He received his Biblical Training through Philadelphia College of the Bible, Calvary Christian Training Courses; of which he later became a teacher, and Minister's Training taught at Bethany Baptist Church in Lindenwold New Jersey. In September 2004,, God expanded his vision again and laid on his heart to start a church in New Brunswick, New Jersey. On December 31, 2004, Calvary Fellowship Ministries was birthed. Evidence that the blessing of the Lord rests on this ministry is the souls that are being added to the church weekly as God sends them.
June, 2005 Pastor Cox became a Harvest Pastor of the Abundant Harvest Fellowship of Churches under the leadership of Bishop David G. Evans. In 2011, he became a member of Interdenominational Ministers Alliance. September 2012, Pastor Cox expanded his ministry and started the second location of Calvary Fellowship Ministries in Trenton. After much prayer Pastor Cox merged both locations together. In October 2017 God blessed Calvary Fellowship Ministries with it’s on building and The Take Over was birthed. Calvary Fellowship Ministries is now known to the community as the Safe Haven. In January 2019 God continued to expand on the vision as Pastor Cox extended his outreach with more Community based programming. He established Youth Outreach/Enrichment Programming for girls and boys ages 7 - 17. Code Blue Enrichment sessions for young men & Code Pink Enrichment sessions for young ladies. June 2020 during a global pandemic Pastor Cox reach for the children by establishing the Safe Haven Enrichment Summer Camp courageously providing the kids of the community an outlet with academic support and much needed outside fun.
January 2020 with Pastor Cox’s heartfelt passion to serve Senior Citizens of his community & the city of Trenton, birthed the Safe Haven Food Pantry in Partnership with Mercer Street Friends Food Bank & Trenton Housing Authority. The “TAKEOVER” continues for Pastor Cox and his ministry while God expands the ministry’s territory. As of November 1, 2021 Pastor Cox successfully MERGED the Safe Haven Church and Calvary Christian Fellowship Ministries after the retirement/relocation of CCFM Founder Bishop Johnnie Vaughn Jr. Serving with him in ministry is his lovely wife, Kesha M. Cox. Together, they have three beautiful children: Kawan, Davon and Israel. Pastor Cox straight forward and revelatory delivery of the gospel of Jesus Christ has Impacted and effected many people lives. There is no doubt that his strong biblical knowledge and teaching will help you in your everyday lives. His passion is to see God’s people prosper in their spiritual growth in heaven and here on earth.

Calvary Christian Fellowship Ministries is a non profit organization located in Ewing, New Jersey, a place where we are free to be ourselves while pursuing change. It welcomes all ages, all ethnicities to an environment where you can feel protected, secure, with just the right amount of balance that’s conducive for learning life lessons and having fun at the same time. CCFM prides itself on empowering the next generation by initiating creative platforms for our youth to explore, discover, cultivate their unrealized potential and challenge them to reach beyond their circumstances. CALVARY CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP MINISTRIES also continues to engage our young adults, parents and seniors through enrichment sessions, community outreach with our Food Pantry and Community Socializing Events. We want more for our COMMUNITY and BETTER for the people in it!!!
